Krista :: Colorado portrait photographer
Krista started out the afternoon, as most my clients do, by telling me that she hated being in front of the camera. I assured her that it was okay, I hated being in front of the camera too and that it would be fun. I do not know if Krista is any more comfortable in front of the camera now, but I am pretty certain she had fun. One thing is for sure though, the camera likes her. From looking at her pictures one would have no idea that she does not like it.
Krista is one of those people that does many things. Things that make her happy. She makes some pretty awesome handbags which you can see and purchase here. She is also just about done with her training with ‘Everything is energy’. With this training, Krista is looking to empower and enliven the lives of others, particularly women. “Everything is energy is a fast-growth company that is emerging into the spotlight by creating real change in people’s lives by teaching people tools of transformation in energy.” I have no doubt that Krista will be successful because she is a beautiful, confident woman who exudes life. Go ahead, see what you think and take a look!

Filmstrip Friday: Jeffrey and the apple
Happy Friday on Saturday! I have been really busy lately and as a result the blog has been neglected. I took some test shots earlier in the week of Jeffrey to try out some locations for a shoot next week. I had to share a few that I just love. I am a lucky to have such a wonderful model who doesn’t look at me like I am crazy when I ask him to eat an apple. Soo, enjoy this weeks Filmstrip Friday a day late and be on the look out for the latest Fine Featherheads shoot and the new website!!!
You can find more photos from this session on the Facebook page.

Filmstrip Friday: The face of Harper Marketing
Man, it has been another big week as usual. I actually had a momentous occasion this week…..I retired my apron. I have been working in the service industry for almost 10 years now, so it’s been a long time commin’. It was a rush of many emotions, to which I won’t bore you with. I thought ditching one job would free up some spare time, but that has yet to happen, so I wait. On the photog side of life, I have been doing a lot of head shots lately. It must be the time of year for change and upgrade. I have been blessed with clients not only easy on the eyes, but willing to step a little out of the box. They have been more like portrait sessions. I took some pictures of M.Harper last week. He is a web designer and marketing guru. You can visit his site here. He has also helped me along my journey of business and the world wide web, so when he asked if I would update his head shots I was thrilled. As two busy people, it took us a while to coordinate our schedules, and the threat of the second Boulder fire almost caused reason for another re-schedule, but alas, it all worked out this time!
