Honeymoon Part I ::: Colorado Photographer
As I lay here awake at 5 AM in Japan (which is pretty late for once), I wish for the simplicity that is camping. Waking up with the sun, no notion of time, fresh mountain smells and of course quality time spent with my boys. I am happy to finally have some time to edit these photos and at least revel in the memories. I have been experimenting with soft and out of focus frames for a couple of months now, but finally have some that I feel are ready to share.

Filmstrip Friday: Jeffrey and the apple
Happy Friday on Saturday! I have been really busy lately and as a result the blog has been neglected. I took some test shots earlier in the week of Jeffrey to try out some locations for a shoot next week. I had to share a few that I just love. I am a lucky to have such a wonderful model who doesn’t look at me like I am crazy when I ask him to eat an apple. Soo, enjoy this weeks Filmstrip Friday a day late and be on the look out for the latest Fine Featherheads shoot and the new website!!!
You can find more photos from this session on the Facebook page.

Filmstrip Friday: Silhouettes in the Sunrise
We have been having some glorious sunrises and sunsets in Boulder lately. I am always busy doing something at the moment, that I never have the time to stop and take some shots. This morning I stepped out my door for my morning run with the boys and saw fire in the sky. This is it, I said to myself, this is the moment that I will take the time and capture the beauty of the moment. All of these pictures are straight from my camera. I had a much needed peaceful morning enjoying the sunrise and listening to “Music for Two” by Bela Fleck and Edgar Myer. I hope that these provide a nice start to your day as well. Happy Friday!
P.S. I am working on a beautiful wedding from Estes Park that I cannot wait to share, but the pictures must be big they are so wonderful…so check back next week!
