LA with the ladies
here are some images i took while on a business trip in LA. while LA is not really my cup of tea, it is a beautiful city. i enjoyed a lot of the architecture in the city as well as many of the perfectly manicured lawns in the suburbs. only thing i didn’t get a picture of were the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G chocolate croissants we enjoyed…everyday…yeah, it’s a good thing they are in LA!
these pictures were all taken during the drive down Wilshire Blvd.
the next series of images are from the Roosevelt Hotel and The W. we were in search of a good pool to enjoy on our only day off. needless to say, one pool was closed and the other, well, not really our idea of a leisurely poolside atmosphere. i have spared you of the i-phone photos i took while there.
The Roosevelt
i know that i will be getting some sh** for this next couple of images, because someone thinks they look fat, or someone doesn’t like this or that angle. but i can take it, because i love them. and i love both of these women. at the end of the day, these are the kind of photos that i am most proud of.
The W.
…and now to the suburbs..
first, i would just like a house and a driveway. then i would really enjoy an archway like this…

Lauren + Ricardo ::: Boulder Engagement Photographer
Meet Lauren and Ricardo. They met at Salsa dancing class. These two know how to dance and do a proper dip. I spent a very enjoyable Saturday morning with them all around Boulder. It was really nice to get to know them and the love they share and spend a lovely spring morning in this beautiful town. This is part one of Lauren and Ricardo’s session.

A walk for Alex
Last weekend I had the honor of photographing A walk for Alex. Alex suddenly passed away last year from Meningitis. Healthy Learning Paths lead by Chris Marchioni led the 1K walk in Alexs’ honor to create awareness for this deadly disease Meningococcus Sepsis. All proceeds were donated to Healthy Learning Paths and for research for Meningococcus Sepsis.
I didn’t know Alex, but he was undoubtedly an amazing young man. I was amazed at the amount of love and support that poured from the hundreds of people that showed up for him on this Sunday. His family is doing an amazing job in creating a lasting legacy for him in efforts to help spread awareness about this terrible disease.
These next two photos are two of my favorites from the day. I love all the pride and happiness in Elise’s mom’s face. You can tell that she is an amazingly strong woman!
